SPRUNG.RAUM Rules and FAQs Kiel

Your trampoline park in Kiel
Frequently asked questions at a glance

Look before you leap!

Trampolining is a sport like any other, which means injuries can occur. To prevent this, we've put together some important tips and rules. The best defence against injuries? Your common sense. Often, a small change in behaviour can make the difference between a harmless situation and a critical one! That's why we kindly ask you to take a moment to read through our JUMP.RULES at SPRUNG.RAUM. It's worth it - for you and everyone jumping with you!

01. Stay Alert

Like defensive driving, many problems can be avoided early on. When a trainer gives you instructions, there's always a good reason. Please follow their guidance.

03. Stay Relaxed

90 minutes is plenty of jumping time. There's no need to rush from one attraction to another.

05. Be Considerate

People of all ages and fitness levels jump here. So: let others go first if they're waiting! Being considerate also means: no food or drinks while jumping.

07. Be Disciplined

Only one person per trampoline. Don't rest on the trampolines or climb the nets and walls. Never crawl under a trampoline.

Under no circumstances: jumping under the influence of alcohol or drugs!

02. Be Prepared

Remember to empty your pockets and remove your watch, jewellery and glasses beforehand. But never forget your SPRUNG.RAUM socks.

04. Be Willing to Learn

These rules apply throughout SPRUNG.RAUM. Additionally, each area has its own "Do's and Don'ts". Please pay attention to the signs!

06. Be Realistic

Despite the rush: don't overestimate your abilities. Avoid landing on your head or neck, and practice somersaults etc. in the foam pit first.

Age and Supervision

Does SPRUNG.RAUM have age limits?

No - trampolining is for everyone! However, we have some important safety tips to share. When it's busy, little ones might find it overwhelming, so we recommend parents with children under 6 visit during quieter times:

  • Monday to Friday 2pm - 6pm and first thing Saturday/Sunday at 11am
  • Parents of young children must supervise their kids
Otherwise, just use your best judgment about what's right for you.
Do children need written parental permission?

Only for our Saturday evening events. Best to bring your parents along. Otherwise, a signed permission slip from your parents plus a copy of their ID will do. Parents can also designate another adult (18+) as a guardian - they'll need to show ID.

You can find the guardian designation form here: Agreement

Punctuality

When should I arrive at SPRUNG.RAUM?

At least 20 minutes before your booked jump time. Remember to allow for potential queues at check-in, getting changed, and the safety briefing.

What if I'm running late?

These things happen. However, you'll only be able to jump for your remaining scheduled time. Since other jumpers are booked in after you, we can't extend sessions.

When should I arrive for EVENTS?

Please arrive 40 minutes before your JUMP.TIME. Popular events can have longer wait times due to group starts. This ensures smooth check-in and preparation.

Accessibility

Is SPRUNG.RAUM wheelchair accessible?

Yes, we have wheelchair access and accessible toilets.

Are there discounts/special opening times?

Yes. Disabled visitors with ID only pay for themselves - their companion gets free entry (just paying for SPRUNG.RAUM socks). If you're just watching, entry is free.
There are no separate opening hours.

Clothing and Items

Do I need to wear SPRUNG.RAUM socks?

Absolutely - they have special grip for safety. Once you buy a pair, they're yours to keep and reuse as long as the grip is still good.

Can I bring my phone or GoPro?

Not on the trampolines, but you're welcome to take photos and videos from outside the jumping areas - we love seeing them!

Can I wear a cap while jumping?

Please don't wear caps - they can block your vision and make you lose orientation, risking injury.

Can I wear a headscarf?

Headscarves are allowed as long as they're not secured with pins or sharp objects.

What else should I know?

Clothes with studs, belt buckles, and jewellery including necklaces, watches, earrings, or piercings are safety risks and aren't allowed.
Empty your pockets before jumping. No coins, keys, charms or sharp objects allowed.

Jump.Time and Bookings

Can I book longer than two hours?

We recommend starting with no more than 120 minutes. If that's not enough, you can always extend your time on the day if there's space.

Can I reserve tickets?

Sorry, we don't take reservations. But you can easily book your tickets online in our Prices & Tickets section.

Food and Drinks

Why eat after jumping, not before?

It's just better that way - all that bouncing on a full stomach might make you feel unwell.

Can I bring my own food and drinks?

No, outside food and drinks aren't allowed. But we've got tasty pizzas, chips, nuggets and sweets in our café. Birthday party bookings can bring their own cake.

Changing Rooms and Valuables

Does SPRUNG.RAUM have changing rooms and showers?

Yes to both, though showers aren't always available. Best check with us beforehand.

Are there lockers?

We have free lockers for valuables, coats and shoes - no coins needed.
SPRUNG RAUM Tempelhof GmbH isn't liable for lost or stolen items. Please report any theft to the police yourself.

Useful Extras

Do you sell gift vouchers?

Of course! Vouchers make brilliant presents. Get them at reception or easily online.

Can I bring my own bounceboard?

Since we can't verify the condition of personal bounceboards, they're not allowed to protect our trampolines. But we have the latest bounceboards available to rent.

Booking Specific Areas

Can I book areas like DODGEBALL for private groups?

Yes - just email us your request and we'll try to find a suitable time slot.

What if I only want to use the foam pit?

That's fine, but you'll still need to pay the regular entry fee as we can't monitor individual area usage.

Trampoline Courses

How do courses work?

A course block includes 6 or 8 sessions on set dates. The difficulty increases progressively throughout the course.

How do you track course attendance?

You'll get a course card at the start showing your course type (BASIC.JUMP, JUMP.FIT etc) and dates. You'll get a stamp for each session attended.
Please check in at reception before each session for your stamp.

What happens if an instructor can't make it?

We'll try to find a replacement. If that's not possible due to illness, the session may be rescheduled. We'll contact you quickly by phone or email about any cancellations. The instructor will arrange an alternative date with participants at the next session.

What if I'm ill and miss a session?

Course block bookings are binding. We can't refund or reschedule missed sessions as dates are fixed. However, you can transfer your spot to someone else - just let us know in writing beforehand.

Why can't I make up missed sessions?

Course sessions cost about €11 each within a block booking - a significant discount. That's why sessions are date-specific and can't be rescheduled.

Can I switch courses?

If your instructor notices in the first two sessions that you're too advanced (e.g. for BASIC.JUMP or BASIC.JUMP Kids), you can move up to a higher level like TRICK.JUMP.
If you've booked Monday JUMP.FIT but want to switch to Thursdays, that's possible if spaces are available. Please confirm changes by email.

How do trial sessions work?

You can book individual sessions from the scheduled course dates, though this costs more. It's a good way to try things out.
Request through our course page form. Pay for trial sessions on arrival. You won't get a course card as you haven't booked a full block.

Prices for Young Children

What do young children pay?

Children can jump alone from age 6. Under-6s need adult supervision. The supervising adult needs a jump ticket and SPRUNG.RAUM socks.
Under-3s jump free - only the supervising adult pays (plus socks for both). SPRUNG.RAUM socks are required for all jumpers!
Supervisors should be 18+ to best assess safety risks.

SPRUNG.RAUM Socks

Why only your socks?
  1. Our trampolines require our SPRUNG.RAUM socks - it's in our house rules.
  2. We trust our socks' grip quality - we can't test every sock from other trampoline parks. Using only our socks ensures customer safety.
  3. Our staff can easily spot who's paid to jump by their socks.

  1. No jumping under the influence of alcohol or drugs
  2. We advise against jumping while pregnant
